Spinach Pitas

Ingredients:
  • 1 bag spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 4-6 Pitas cut in half
Directions:
Chop garlic and onion and saute in olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water and spinach. Saute stirring frequently until spinach is cooked. Add any seasonings such as garlic salt or lemon pepper (add salt sparingly - a little goes a long way in this recipe).

Fill each pita half with spinach. Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 5 min (or until pita just crisps).

You can also cut into quarters to serve, but it is better to cut into quarters after it is cooked - easier to manage.
